After passing through the Sables d'Olonne channel together at the end of a memorable contest during the last Vendée Globe, Jean-Pierre Dick has invited Yann Eliès on board the StMichel-Virbac for the Transat Jacques Vabre 2017. The pair have a clear objective. The skipper from the Cote d'Azur is setting his sights on a fourth win in the 'Route du café' event which starts from Le Havre on 5 November this year, heading for Salvador de Bahia.

French skipper Jean-Pierre Dick crossed the finish line of the eighth Vendée Globe at 1347hrs UTC on Wednesday 25th January. The skipper of StMichel Virbac completed his solo round the world voyage in 80 days 1 hour 45 minutes and 45 seconds. Jean-Pierre Dick sailed 27,857 miles at the average speed of 14.5 knots.
