Diversity: a well established policy

Diversity: a well established policy

Virbac is committed to a diversity policy and signed a Charter in favour of non-discrimination and diversity recognized by the HALDE (High Commission against discrimination and for Equality).

The human values of our company have always placed the collaborator at the heart of our strategy. And it is today thanks to its teams that Virbac has become a recognized international player. Respect, trust and attention brought to our employees are part of our history. The men and women who make up our business therefore represent a true wealth.  Diversity is an integral part of this human wealth and it is therefore naturally and legitimately that it has found its rightful place in our human resources policy.

Diversity is anchored so little by little in our corporate culture and today represents a real opportunity for our performance. Opportunity because:
  • It promotes innovation and creativity
  • It allows a better pooling of skills.  It also allows a better understanding of our customers just as diverse
  • It helps to fight against labour shortages and encourage the attraction and retention of talent
  • In a globalized economy, it also reflects our international issues
  • Finally, it helps to better manage our population pyramid and helps us sustain our knowledge and our know-how
We are convinced that in managing diversity, we create value.  Therefore, we have created a working group who has reflected and guided our policy on diversity.

Our diversity policy aims to guarantee equal treatment of employees, to promote the variety of people and human relations, to maintain the employability of our staff. It revolves around three main axes:
  • gender equality
  • diversity of ages via our intergenerational agreement
  • disability
